Dear cbaby1,
The photo of your breast and scar look very normal for 1 year after surgery. You may be developing a hypertrophic, or thicker scar. I often find that massaging the scar with a silicone-based scar cream two to three times a day can help a great deal.

The mild pain may be scar tissue irritating your muscle, but it would always be a good idea to follow up with your surgeon. I always want to know if my patients are having an issue, no matter how large or small, even a year or...
