Drinking plenty of water will likely not make a substantial difference for acne. I advised scheduling a consultation with a dermatologist for further evaluation and management of your acne. There are varying severity of acne and different types of acne (e.g. comedonal acne, inflammatory acne, nodulocystic acne), and the treatment for these conditions differ from patient to patient.
