PMMA (Polymethyl methacrylate) is mostly used as a temporary prosthesis. For the called "Teeth in a Day." After three to six months of implant placement, you can load those implants with a Prettau Zirconia bridge, a durable and strong material. PMMA is for temporary teeth; Zirconia is for final teeth.

For the All-On-4, it is necessary to do all the extractions because we need space for the implants and the fixed dentures. But, if some of the teeth are healthy and strong, there are other options for placing implants in the areas needed or where teeth are missing. And, in the rest, crowns can be done, or bridges or whatever prosthetic work is required. Or if they are in good condition, leave them.

Would implants correct my bite and issues?

Replacing crowns with posts?

If you replace those old posts and crowns we need to check how is the condition of the bone/teeth underneath. Dental implant are an option, an other option is to make a new bridge from canine to canine, but, it means that we would have to grind both canines and the bridge would be a bit longer. Hopefully you can post an x-ray.

What I suggest is: Finish first your orthodontic treatment. To see if it is possible to close the gaps with your own teeth, then you would not be needing implants. At the end if you want a cosmetic approach, you can get veneers.I do not suggest to place the implants as you will close the possibility of a restoration with your natural teeth.

All on 4 upper cracked. I had the procedure 10 years ago. What can I do?

I assume that the fixed bridge is what broke. As long as the dental implants are fine, you can always replace the Zirconia bridge for a new one. Thank you.
