Thank you for your question! Often in cases like these a combination approach is best. We place you on a general skin regimen and then tailor your treatment specifically to your situation. RF microneedling (we love our Vivace) with PRP and a various choice of laser treatments often have very good results. Then treating the remainder with subcision or punch as needed. I think you would find that the results from cheek filler would be exactly what you are looking for. In my experience most people end up wanting more than half a syringe I’m each cheek but, you can always add more after the initial trial.

Honestly I think you would be very underwhelmed and unhappy with the results. Any time you put a needle in the skin you can have swelling and bruising. The amount of filler doesn’t necessarily change the risk there so I would plan on it either way.

Hi! Thank you for your question! I don’t think that your skin would be ruined. I always recommend that you do a set of microneedling as the results build upon each other. While there are home options I find the best results come from a professional and I highly recommend radio frequency microneedling with platelet rich plasma for the best results. Find someone you trust and get a professional opinion.

In my experience PRP does tend to enhance the results of using hyaluronic acid fillers. As with all procedures much of the final result is dependant on your choice of professional to do the procedure but, PRP does appear to help significantly.
