Juviderm while on various medications
Nov 11, 2019
It is generally safe to have hyaluronic acid injections whilst on the medication mentioned. However, make sure you have the procedure carried out by a Consultant Dermatologist or Plastic surgeon and not just a cosmetic physician. This is important in order for them to properly assess your skin prior the procedure, and address any individual needs linked with your medical background.
Are PDO threads or fillers best for my nasolabial folds?
fillers versus thread
Nov 11, 2019
Lets first of all put something straight:
Fillers help with volume loss, giving back part of the lost facial shape, thus excellent for face sculpting/ nasolabila folds.
Thread lift is amazing on giving back firmness on sagging skin which in many cases results from loss volume.
So, I would inject fillers to address the nasolabial fold, and work with thread lift for the jawline sagging skin after the fillers are settled.
Those would not necessarily happen during the…

dizzy following Botox on bladder
Nov 1, 2019
Botox injected in the bladder should not cause this kind of reaction. However, if the units injected are exceeding a certain amount of international units of botulinum toxin, rarely there might be more generalized symptoms.Usually up to 100-150 units injected is more than safe but it is important to ask your physician about the amount injected.
I had two elionce either side of my upper neck – Advise?
Elionce complication
Nov 1, 2019
Dear Jayme,
Elionce is known to be sterile, and non allergenic as it is made of the absorbable suture material. However, the photos uploaded show as far as I can understand, a bilateral reaction on the site of insertion. This clearly looks like a reaction to one of the materials involved in the procedure. It is cardinal to see the physician who performed this. If they are specialist Consultant Dermatologist they will be able to address this adverse event. (unfortunately Elionce is also…

Botox resistance
Oct 27, 2019
Botox resistance may arise at any point, regardless the patients’ condition at the time of treatment. Keeping in mind that our immune system is very dynamic and changes to its behavior multifactorial, I would say that having Botox while under flu will not necessarily change the outcome HOWEVER: it is NOT advisable to have any jabs or immune triggering injections whilst having flu.I hope this helps.
