Good to hear you have stopped self-harming yourself.
I also have to say it will be best to assess with pictures. What its clear is that since they are only 1 month old, they are still undergoing healing. During this period its a good idea to use topical options like Silicone (in sheet, gel, or cream form) to improve its appereance. First, we have to assess the time of this scar. How long its been since the cold sore went away and the scar first appear.
There are numerous topical (non invasive) options known to improve the appereance of scars. I generally recommend a combination of Silicone + SPF 30 (or higher), like BioCorneum from Sientra, during a period of three months. You apply it twice daily. You can also do scar massage.
I think its best to wait a minimum of 6 months…
