I usually line the upper vermillion border with Restylane Silk to enhance the upper lip. If a patient desires more filler in the lip I will usually offer a PermaLip silicone implant to give it the best appearance. Please see a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options.

You can get a high profile implant exchange with a lift revision but I thinks you will need a soft tissue support material under the skin to keep the implant from falling. Seri which is made by Allergan from silkworms appears to do an excellent of keeping the implants in place and keeping the nipple/areolar complex form widening when you appropriately. Please see a board certified plastic surgeon for evaluation and to discuss your options and concerns for implant exchange.

It is possible to still have pain at 8 days out. However, you need to see your surgeon to assess the pain to make sure there is no critical condition occurring that is causing the pain.

The round implants make the upper pole more full in appearance and the tear drop looks more like a natural breast. It depends upon the look you are trying to achieve. My preference would be for you to use a round implant for your surgical procedure. However, please see a board certified plastic surgeon for evaluation and to discuss your options.

Overall your shape is good. there are some areas of concern but not a major problem. You shoud foloowup with your surgeon to discuss a revision in these areas.

I think you will need at least a small lift to get a good aesthetic result. If you use larger implants you may want to consider a soft tissue support material such as SERI to help hold the larger implants up to prevent recurrent ptosis. I do not recognize that technique and would question the qualifications of the injector. I would find a board certified plastic surgeon in your area to evaluate you and discuss his or her injection techniques.

I think silicone implants are best placed in the inframammary fold. The removal of the old implants may present a problem when attempting the TUBA approach./

At any point within a month after surgery you could have complications due to cigarette smoking. The nicotine in the cigarette causes constriction of blood vessels thus limiting the flow of blood and oxygen to the wounded areas. This will sometime cause nonhealing of the incisions and the wound will open up which depending on your skin thickness cause exposure or extrusion of your imjplants.

Depending upon what is found during an examination and during surgery and the size implants you choose scarring will occur in several places. If you have a periareolar lift then scars will be a round the nipple/areolar complex. Depending on the implant size you scar may be around the nipple and then vertical below the nipple or it could be below the nipple and horizontal along the inframammary fold. At eith position the scar is usually well hidden and fades with time.

The final result usually depends on the person’s preoperative contour. If a person is very fat or has no waist line to start with then a hour glass waist line will not occur postop. Some patients have a large amount of internal (visceral) fat around there organs that prevent a good contour from occurring. any preop anatomical variance will usually still reveal itself postoperatively.

This is the highest area of tension in a breast reduction closure and happens more common than not. I wold keep the wound clean and dry and see your surgeon to formulate a healing plan. It should heal fine.

I think it can be removed but I would have it evaluated and have a CT or MRI done to find out what is causing the bump. After evaluation then you could proceed with the operation to remove it depending upon the findings.
