Yes. Under local and the capsule does not need to be removed. The surgery should take about an hour and cost about $2000. I would suggest you contact your surgeon and see if he can due better on the price. You never said why you do not like your implants. Were you made too large? Down time would be the same day if they were only removed. Strenuous Physical activity in about 3 weeks.

You did not say why you are massaging your lower eyelids. Did you have fat injections?

If you did, you may be altering the volume of fat. Pressure to skin to skin can alter the water content of the skin, I.e. elastic stockings when your feet are swollen.

A tuberous breast has a very distinct appearance. It is usually small and slightly high on the chest but the tell tail sign is that the breast tissue mainly involves the lareola nipple comply with the areola and nipple are herniated out from the circumference of the areola. It is very unusual to have your history following a breast augmentation unless there is infection. It appears from your history that you have a low grade infection which should heal with removal of the implant for 2 to three months and a course of antibiotics. discuss this with your surgeon.

From you pictures your nipples are below your inframammary fold crease. This is the determining factor upon whether you need a lift. I would recommend a lift and determine how much breast tissue you have and how big you wish to be at the conclusion of surgery.

It is possible that a facelift could reactivate a previous infection if the facelift is in the area of the previous infection. It has been shown the ruptured appendix scars that are well healed and older than ten years can harbor previous bacteria. I would think that the possibility of this happening would be small. You would have had to be infected with bacteria and not an allergic reaction.

I concur with the other physicians that answered this question. In addition, I have recently seen a patient in consultation that developed swelling of the abdominal wall between the two tunnels that were used to insert her implants. I would not recommend this operation. The implants are safe and are the standard saline implants used by the majority of plastic surgeons.

Your complaints sound as if there has been too much skin removed during your surgery. Ask your significant other to observe you while you sleep to determine if you sleep with them open. There is no good chemical or treatment to use on dark skin. The problem is that anything that can affect the skin can affect the melanocytes that give color to the skin. Before undergoing any treatment, the skin should be tested in an inconspicuous place to see the effect the treatment. This is true with all chemicals as well as lasers.

You need to discuss your surgery with your surgeon. If there is a gap that was created due to the wound pulling apart, it will not improve with time. Document your concerns with your surgeon and with photographs. I would then wait a month or two from now and then revisit your surgeon. I have not seen incisions that extend 1 inch beyond the outer canthus of the eyelid. Hope this helps. Scars cannot be removed, only improved upon.
