Which filler is better for under eye hollows?
Dark Eye Circles/Hollows

You may wish to pursue a surgical option. If not, you want to use a filler that will not show the “Tyndall effect” or blue discolouration.Currently my personal favourites for this area are the restylane family of products and Teosyal Redensity II.The most important thing is to see a physician who is very experienced in fillers, as this can be a difficult area to treat.Wishing you the best.Dr. Daniel Radin, Cosmetic and Laser Dermatology, Windsor, Ontario, Canada
What can treat little red vines on my face?

That is an excellent question. You are not alone. Facial veins are very common. There are a number of lasers which can be used. IPL/intensed pulse light, pulsed dye laser, 532/KTP or a YAG laser can be used. It’s more important to find someone who’s experienced with lasers. Rather than someone that has a particular laser. You can get great results with all of the lasers. It’s just important to find someone that’s good. I would recommend seeing a board-certified…
I had Botox between eyebrows injected yesterday. How long before I see the horizontal lines disappear?

You will likely notice some changes within the first few days. I usually tell my patients it takes one to two weeks for the full effect to “kick in”.Every one is different. Botox is not “cookie-cutter”. Each individual needs a different treatment. If you haven’t noticed anything by two weeks I would go see the person that did it.

Thank you for that excellent question. Unfortunately scarring from acne is very common. And treatment is difficult.I always tell my patients that we can likely improve this fine but it is difficult to eliminate it. A combination of fillers, chemical peels, and various lasers can be used to improve the appearance.I hope that helps.Dr. Daniel Radin. Dermatologist, Windsor, Ontario,Canada
Juviderm injected in the high cheekbone, will it lift up the face?
Juvederm-filler to lift the face

Jun 15, 2014
That is a great question. With time, unfortunately our face descends. Filler when used in the proper fashion can create an uplift or rising of the cheeks. It is more important to find someone (I would recommend a dermatologist or plastic surgeon)that is experienced with dermal fillers. It’s not so much filler(ie juvederm, voluma, restylane, perlane, Belotero, teosyal, radiesse, sculptra), but the person actually doing injections that makes the most difference.I hope that helps.Dr….
Should I start with glycolic acid peel or salicylic acid peel for acne?

Peels are a great way to improve acne. But I don’t recommend doing them on your own. If done incorrectly, and if the wrong product is used, scarring and permanent damage can occur. It is just not worth it.Done in the correct hands, and under proper supervision peels are very effective. In my office we utilize salicylic acid peels and have had good success.I wish you the best.Dr. Daniel Radin, Dermatologist, Windsor, Ontario, Canada
What is the best filler for deep glabellar lines?
Best filler

Jun 11, 2014
That is a great question! I would first recommend you have a botox or dysport treatment. Many times this is all that is needed. There are many fillers on the market. It is more important to find a physician who is very skilled and trained in the injectables(ie botox, dysport, restylane, juvederm, teosyl, belotero, etc). They will help guide you to the proper treatment. This can be a “tricky” area, so you want to see someone who knows the anatomy(ie…
