I Have Crow’s Feet After Receiving Botox in my Forehead. What Should I Do?
Crow’s Feet After Receiving Botox in Forehead
Jun 4, 2013
You likely had crow’s feet before receiving Botox. What often happens is that after treating one area with Botox and that area improves, other lines appear more pronounced. Botox is great for softening the crow’s feet and, in experienced hands, a very safe and effective treatment.

What Happens when Botox is Injected in the Upper Cheek Area?
Botox Injected in the Upper Cheek Area
Jun 4, 2013
The areas you are pointing to may be the points of entry of the needle used in the injections, but the actual injection of Botox would have been most likely some distance from those needle entry points. There are different ways of injecting and this second person appears to inject a little differently from your other injector. So you may not have any problems at all with your smile. I suggest waiting a couple weeks to see the full effects and return…
Will Botox Help with This?
Will Botox Help Bumps?
May 8, 2013
Yes, the muslces in this area (corrugators) are very strong in your case and men tend to have strong muscles in this area. You will need continuing treatments over time, meaning it will not be a one time fix. I suggest you see an experienced injector (dermatologist, plastic surgeon) in your area.

Took Prednisone After IPL — Did I Just Ruin the Effects of the IPL?
Prednisone after IPL
May 2, 2013
You likely did not undo the effects of the IPL treatment, but what you are describing sounds unusual for IPL – massive swelling and horrible bruising. I agree with other responses here too that you should not be taking random doses of prednisone that is lying around. The reaction on your neck and chest sounds unusual too. You should return to be evaluated by the provider who performed the IPL and also inform him/her about the prednisone.

Does Radiesse Cause Serious Diseases Such As Cancer?
Does Radiesse Cause Serious Diseases Such As Cancer?
May 2, 2013
Radiesse is not known to cause serious diseases or cancer. It is an FDA-approved filler material, and is made up of calcium hydroxyapetite which is very similar to a constituent found in bone. Injecting Radiesse into the nose is an off-label indication. If you’ve never had any filler injections, you may want to consider a hyaluronic acid filler, which, if you do not like the results, can be dissolved with an enzyme, hyaluronidase. I suggest you seek out an experienced…
What Do You Call the Marking Lines Drawn on the Face in Preparation for Radiesse Injections for Cheek
Term for marking lines in preparation for filler injection
May 2, 2013
There is no special terminology for these marking lines, other than marking lines. It is not unusual for an injector to mark out areas to be injected. As noted by others, an injector may also make note of special anatomical areas (such as the foramen or opening of the infraorbital nerve).
Is Restylane an Outdated Product?
Restylane is not an outdated product
Apr 30, 2013
As others have responded before me, Restylane is not an outdated product. It is widely used and effective. Depending on the area to be injected, some prefer Restylane in certain areas for injection. Profit margin wise – it is not that much different from other fillers.
