Does a liquid rhinoplasty reduce the size of your nose?
Nose filler
Feb 11, 2018
Hi there,
A non surgical nose job uses filler in order to improve the shape of the nose. This means that filler is injected into the nose to even out things like asymmetric, bumps or a downturned tip. This makes the nose bigger as a product is being added, but it will make the nose appear straighter. Most clinicians use a hyaluronic acid, which is temporary, and can last anywhere from a few months to a couple of years depending on the filler used. If you are…
What can I do to make my dorsal hump on my nose less noticeable?
Non surgical nose job
Feb 11, 2018
Hi there,
it appears that you may be a good candidate for a non surgical nose job. These are performed using dermal filler and can last anywhere between several months to a couple of years. Personally, I do not use permanent fillers in the nose as any adverse events that could occur are potentially more difficult to manage. I prefer using hyaluronic acid fillers for noses, as I believe where the risks to the patient can be reduced, we should.

Accelerated Orthodontics Pros and Cons?
Short term ortho
Nov 10, 2017
Hi there,
Accelerated orthodontics, or short term orthodontics (STO), is just that. It is a solution to swiftly move the teeth. STO is great in some cases, and not so great in others. There are a tonne of STO on the market such as 6 month smiles, CFAST, Quick straight teeth, Fastbraces… there are so many! The most important thing to bear in mind is that STO is for mild cases only that don’t need comprehensive adjustment of the bite and the way the teeth work…
How long will I need braces to straighten my teeth?
how long?
Jun 3, 2017
Hi there,
on the face of it this may not be a very difficult case, but unfortunately I do not have records available that tell me about the bite or any other underlying issues that may complicate your treatment. To get the most accurate answer to your question I would advise you attend with an experienced orthodontist who will be able to guide you about your options and how long these would take to complete.
Hope this helps!

MJ
Price to have 4 teeth bonded?
price for dental bonding
Jun 3, 2017
Hi there,
the price for dental bonding can vary, depending on the amount of tooth surface to be bonded, the skill of the dentist, the complexity of the job and the materials used. In the UK, cosmetic dentists usually charge around £150-400 per tooth, but this largely depends on the factors already mentioned. I know from experience that dentistry in Australia can often be a little dearer than here in the UK, so you would need to find a dentist to advise you on your regional …
Can shovel-shaped incisors be made straight?
teeth that stick out
Jun 3, 2017
Hi there,
for teeth that stick out, you may wish to consider braces to align the teeth. In theory, your teeth could be aligned this way, and if they are shovel-shaped or wider at the bottom there may be an option to perform some smoothing between the teeth to better fit them into the row of teeth. Unfortunately, I am not able to advise you further as I have no other details of your case but I am sure a competent dentist would be able to tell you more.
Hope this helps!
Best,
MJ

dental bonding
Jun 3, 2017
Hi there,
You may well be a candidate for bonding, as spaces between teeth can be closed quite effectively and this can be made to look very nice if done correctly. However, your dentist should be able to guide you whether this is suitable and will achieve the desired result. For my patients I often complete a mock-up of what the bonding could look like when they come for their consultation, which can show them more clearly what the outcome would be on their teeth. The one…
