Answer Snippet
Can I get Botox/Dysport during my period/menstrual cycle?
No Side Effects
Oct 9, 2019
Thank you for the question! You will experience no side effects or increased risks when receiving a Nuerotoxin such as Botox or Dysport.
You should not however receive Nuerotoxins while pregnant or breastfeeding.
Would Botox be enough for my concerns: between my brows, laugh lines, smoker lines, and smile lin
Botox + Filler
Oct 9, 2019
Great question! Botox is a wonderful option for wrinkles caused by movement. Think of when you make an angry or excited face, those wrinkles on your forehead and in between your eyebrows (the 11's) are called dynamic wrinkles. However, Botox won't give you the results you are looking for concerning smoker lines, your Nasolabial Folds, or Marionette lines (the lines created when you smile that make a triangle from the bottom of your nose to the edge of your lips and can cause a droopy...
Bubble after lip filler, what could it be and how can I treat it?
Post Juvederm Followup
Jul 11, 2019
Lumps. bumps, and asymmetric swelling are very common after lip injections. It is best to wait approximately two weeks for the filler to have integrated and the swelling to have dissipated so the lips can be properly addressed. This is when if any corrections need to be made, they can be properly addressed.
With any cosmetic service, especially injectables, it is very important to do your due diligence on your provider to ensure that they are properly trained, qualified, and...

Possible Underdosing
Jul 11, 2019
Thanks for the question. In my personal opinion you may have been under dosed. Generally in the 11's the average is 20 units in comparison to the 14 you had. In the photo it appears you still have movement. It would be helpful to see the before picture to better assess how strong the movement was prior (which correlates to how much Botox is needed to treat the area).
Is it possible to get Botox to crows feet only?
Your Personal Goal
Jul 11, 2019
Of course! It is your personal goal, the provider may give you their input or personal input, but at the end of the day it is your personal goals that should be respected.
As a provider, we do approach treating the overall face as a whole, however again it is still your personal choice that is most important when receiving cosmetic treatments.
I would like to do Botox to make the movement less without freezing it. Is there a specific Botox
Request Baby Botox
Jul 11, 2019
Technically, yes, this can be achieved. The brow drop is caused from injecting too low on the frontalis region and the "freeze," from too high of dosing from the Botox itself. In our office we refer to this kind of request as "baby Botox," wherein we use a smaller amount of Botox to achieve a more natural look. It is very important for you to voice your goals to your injector and for them to feel comfortable performing the procedure.
Are Botox and Juvederm safe for people with keloids?
Minimal Risk
Jul 11, 2019
The needle gauges are small so minimal trauma is caused during procedure, it would be very unlikely to keloid or scar from Juvederm or Botox injections.
Be sure to research your injector for the safest and best treatment.
