Roll on abdomen 5 weeks after Vaser Lipo. Will this go away or do I need more lipo? (phtos)
Skin or swelling?
May 22, 2019
Thank you for your question!
At five weeks post, you are still early in your healing. I have seen lumps and bumps smooth out over a 3-6 month period, so be patient!
If this does not smooth out, you may need a revision. That could be in the form of another round of liposuction, or maybe skin removal. It is hard to tell with the photos at hand.
Again, be patient. You may end up being perfectly happy in the upcoming months! Good luck!
I'm getting Vaser Lipo for full abdomen, waist and flanks. Will 4 separate sessions be too much?
Multiple surgeries
May 22, 2019
Thank you for the question! If I were you, I would want to get as much done in one surgery as safely possible. Less surgeries Less downtime. If you do four separate surgeries, that is a lot of recovery time! Here, we are usually able to get the upper and lower abdomen, hips and flanks done in one case. If it is not safe (too much lidocaine, too long of a surgery) then we will split the surgery into two stages.
I'd advise you to get a couple more consultations. That way,...
I got a crease in my side 5 days ago, 4 weeks post op Vaser Lipo on stomach. What else can I do for it
Crease on side
May 22, 2019
Hello,
A crease that has persisted for the past five days may be permanent. If aggressive massage has not taken care of it, you may need to have a revision to lift the adhesion. However, you are still early out of surgery, and it may very well work its way out! Time will tell.. It would be best to make an appointment with your plastic surgeon to a plan of action.
Thank you for the question, and congrats on your surgery. Take care!
2 weeks post-op lipo on my lower abdomen. Is this swelling or is my fat back?
Two weeks post op
May 22, 2019
Hello,
At two weeks, you are FAR from your final results. It is going to take three months before you get a great idea of where you will be once you are healed. Be patient!
You do seem to have an indentation/crease on your lower abdomen. I'd suggest going back to your plastic surgeon to ensure that you are not wearing improper garments.
Good luck!
I have been eating very average/bad food some days within 3 weeks after my surgery. Will this hurt my
Poor eating habits
May 16, 2019
It is always advised to eat a clean diet after any surgery to promote healing. However, you will not harm your results unless you continue to eat poorly for an extended period of time and put on significant weight.
Good job on the smoothies! Keep it up!
