Breast Implants with Upper Body Strength
Feb 14, 2020
It's a great question, but I still feel like the advantages of placing the implant in the submuscular position out weight any disadvantages, even in your situation.  Ultimately, putting the implant under the muscle gives the best long-term result and lowest amount of complications, even in patients with a lot of upper body (pec muscle) strength.  Just choose a board-certified plastic surgeon with a lot of experience in this surgery, and you'll do great.  Good luck!
Can I get 565cc implants?
Is 565cc too big?
Feb 14, 2020
Hi Sincere.  As is always the case, it's hard to give great input without seeing you in person.  But based on your measurements, that width seems a little high.  Perhaps you would be better served to visit with someone open to using other brands of implants.  Sientra implants are great implants, but so are the Natrelle Soft-touch implants, and these offer some higher projections.  It wouldn't be bad, to at least know your options.  Best of luck.
High platelet count. Is it still possible to have a breast augmentation and 360 BBL surgery?
Breast augmentation with abnormal labs
Aug 15, 2019
The good news is that you found out about the abnormal labs before you're all set for surgery.  Obviously, you will want to do everything that you can to find out why your platelets are so high.  Ultimately, you will hope to have them lowered by the time of surgery, but there are options that would still allow you to have surgery and medically manage your risks around the time of surgery.  So complete your work-up and recognize that very likely you are still going to be able to have the su...

Antiphospholipid Ab and Mommy Makeover
May 20, 2019
This doesn't necessarily rule you out from having surgery, it will just require planning your part and the part of your plastic surgeon.  You will need to make sure that your hematologist is aware and on board with your surgery.  He or she will give advice to your surgeon on the best way to manage your problem during and around surgery.  Equally important is choosing a board certified plastic surgeon with experience with treating challenging medical problems and great experience in breast an...

Tummy Tuck after Chemotherapy
May 20, 2019
I hope you're doing well with your treatment and wish you a speedy recovery.  I would recommend that you wait at least 6 weeks after finishing chemotherapy before undergoing surgery.  This also depends on you "numbers" and that you have recovered sufficiently.  Your oncologist will help you determine this along with a board certified plastic surgeon with experience in this type of surgery.  Good luck...you deserve to feel good about your body, and I wish you well.
