Brazilian butt lift and cost

Brazilian butt lift would cost between 5 and $6000 depending on the amount of liposuction needed. If the change in inches is hard to predict that the change in the curve can be impressive. In my opinion a lot of the improvement in the parent the buttocks is really the liposuction.

A good liposuction that narrows waste makes a woman curve in the curve is where it’s at. The fat injection changes. Hips from a square to a circle but the liposuction is really responsible for the s- curve. (Wendell Perry, MD, Miami Plastic Surgeon)

The cost of a Brazilian Butt Lift varies by surgeon, region of the country, and amount of work required for each patient. On average, the cost of a Brazilian Butt Lift ranges from $5,000 to $20,000. In Florida where I practice, the average cost of a Brazilian butt lift is about $6,000 to $10,000.

However, I caution anyone from picking their plastic surgeon based on cost and recommend that you only allow a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery to perform your Brazilian Butt Lift.

I agree with previous posts in that it is unlikely for you to increase your hip measurements by six inches. However, your overall shape could be dramatically improved with a Brazilian Butt Lift by trimming the waist, back, and iliac rolls with liposuction while increasing the shape and projection of the buttocks with fat transfer (i.e. fat injections).

This operation can really provide an hourglass shape many patients have always wanted. (Jaime Perez, MD, Tampa Plastic Surgeon)

In your case you would need body sculpting to create a narrower waist, thinner thighs and reshaping of all of the areas around the buttocks to give them a more rounded appearancve. All of the fat harvested in the liposculpting phase would then be prepared to re-inject into the buttocks.

You would need approximartely 500cc of fat injected into each side. I have found that the best machine available for this procedure is the Body Jet with the attachment for fat harvesting. The water assisted fat extraction combined with the harvesting cannister assures superior quality of the fat cells and makes this procedure less arduous and timeconsuming.

I ususlally charge for one extra area to do the fat transfer. If four areas are used for the harvesting and the preliminary liposculpture this amounts to approximately $12,000 for the procedure.

I am not sure you can achieve a 6 inch increase in your hip measurements but 3-4 inches is do-able. (Joel B. Singer, MD, New York Plastic Surgeon)

You get what you pay for

The Brazilian butt lift is really a combination of procedures. It is first liposuction of the waist and other areas then it is taking the aspirated fat, removing the oil and blood, and injecting/augmenting the butt. The cost is usually in the range of $8-12000 depending on how many areas of liposuction. (Irvin M. Wiesman, MD, Chicago Plastic Surgeon)

I charge between $7000 and $10,000 for a Brazilian buttock lift/augmentation. This is dependant on how many areas we are harvesting from and how large the areas are. The amount of augmentation is limited by how much fat you have and how elastic your buttock skin is. It can be very effective. (Kenneth L. Stein, MD, Chicago Plastic Surgeon)

Brazilian Butt Lift Cost Factors

RealSelf average cost for this procedure is $7200 as of the date of this posting. In Southern California it probably ranges a bit higher from $6000 – $15,000+. The Brazilian Butt Lift, itself encompasses a wide range of techniques and areas from which the fat is taken from, that can be performed to different extents. My recommendation is to first find qualified surgeons that are board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery you trust, then compare prices between them. Factors that influence the price include:

  1. Location – Will it be performed in a hospital with an overnight stay, an independent out- patient facility or a doctors office?
  2. Type of Anesthesia – IV sedation or General Anesthesia? Will a board certified anesthesiologist or a nurse anesthetist be used, or an RN?
  3. Experience and training of your surgeon. The best trained (and longest) would be a surgeon board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery
  4. Length and Complexity of Surgery – how much fat will be removed, from how many areas, how long, etc. How much fat transfer will take place? (Larry S. Nichter, MD, MS, FACS, Orange County Plastic Surgeon)
